The BioLight™ has 3 modes to provide optimal lighting all day, and all night. It is equipped with 3 different modes that can be changed to align with the different light phases of the sun from sunrise to sunset.
By turning the light off and on at the light switch it will initiate a mode change, no remotes needed, no wifi controls, just a simple off and on from the existing light switch.
Why do we need full spectrum lighting?
We all know how beneficial natural light from being outside during the day is for us, this is because the sun emits balanced full spectrum light which humans are biologically adapted to receive, however the type of light most people are under during the day is a very different spectrum of light which has been shown to be very harmful to our health.
The BioLight™ full spectrum light bulb technology very closely replicates the same visual colour spectrum as visible natural light from the sun. Adequate exposure to full spectrum light will increase energy through out the day, uplift mood, and increase overall wellbeing.
As with all BlockBlueLight lighting products the BioLight™ is low EMF and flicker free.
How to use the BioLight Full Spectrum Light Bulb
To operate the BioLight full spectrum light bulb it firstly needs to be installed into a compatible light fitting. The BioLight is compatible with worldwide voltages, and it is available in E26, E27 screw, B22 Bayonet, and Recessed downlights.
Once successfully installed, when the light is first turned on it will be on the amber night mode, to then change the mode simply turn the light off, and then turn it back on again, this will send an instruction to the light to change modes. You can continue to turn the light off and then on again to cycle through the 3 modes until to have the desired mode you wish the light to be on.
The BioLight full spectrum light bulb requires no special switches, remotes, or controllers to operate, it has been designed to work perfectly with any existing light switch.
Full Spectrum Day Mode:
Full spectrum day mode provides a very high quality balanced white light which is the most optimal type of lighting to be exposed to during the day time, it has healthy amounts of blue, green, yellow, orange, and red light, all in balance to very closely match the same visible light output from the sun. This type of light will ensure you have clean sustainable energy throughout the day, will ensure you do not get headaches, eyestrain, or migraines which is a very common symptom of conventional LED lights.
Low Blue Mixed mode:
Low blue mixed mode combines the full spectrum day mode with the no blue amber mode, the result is a warm white light with the same spectrum light output as the traditional incandescent light bulbs. This type of light is perfect to use early morning and early evening as it closely replicates the optimal light to be exposed to at these times.
No Blue Night Mode
The No blue night mode features 100% blue light free light that provides a relaxing warm amber light designed to be used once the sun has set. This can be used as general purpose light throughout the home and in lamps to provide an warm relaxing ambiance in the home which promotes deep and restful sleep.

The daytime mode at 4000K has high light quality at CRI99 which is perfect!
But as soon as you use the other warmer modes CRI falls down the basement and suddenly
you have light quality that is worse than most other brands like Phillips HUE as an example.
At the warmer modes these lamps cant render RED colors.
CRI is only at 75 and the important R9 value that tells how good the light can render RED colors is at minus!
A good R9 value is around 50 and these lamps cant even reach 0.
Even if you think the warmer light feels cozy it is really crap.
No information about this in the specs so i may post it here to warn others.
if you only want to use the daytime mode then you have the perfect bulb.
if you want a warmer mode there are many other brands that have much higher light quality.
Bedtime Bulb is one of them with high CRI and R9 value at 2000K.
These lamps cant fix it.
These bulbs are measured with an professional spectrometer and the picture shows Color Temp CRI and R9 values at the warmer mode.
Back to the drawing table boys and girls this isnt right!

I love these lights and the natural hue. It makes the entire family feel calm. These bulbs are in every lamp in the entire house. Just cut the blue light. It's not good for health.

This BioLight-Full Sprectrum Light is the best lighting ever. The deep yellow light makes reading
at night is easy on the eyes. Knowing the daylight setting is blocking the blue light is a comfort.
We are in our 90's so we find this type of lighting very helpful as our eyes tire easily. We have three
Full Sprectrum Lights and plan to be more as we are able to. We don't have a Smart phone so we are sorry that we cannot send a photo or video. Barbara L from WI

Using this as my main light source indoors during the day.
The second mode as soon as the sun starts going down.
The third mode which is the same as the SweetDreams bulb, I use for most of the evening in addition to some Twillight bulbs until about an hour before bed when i turn the BioLight off.
Having my light intake on a schedule like this and using blue light filters on my devices has had a tremendous impact on my sleep quality.

I have battled eye strain/eye fatigue for years in our home. I saw a story showing people recording their lighting in slo-mo to catch the flicker. We tried it and were stunned. The more I read, the more I felt I knew why my eyes were struggling so much at night in our home. Blue light and flicker. Within seconds of turning on our new BioLight bulbs, I was very aware of the major difference. We are slowly (okay, as fast as we can!) changing out all of the bulbs in our home. I no longer struggle with blurred vision and fatigue in the evenings. The adjustable settings, with just a flip of the switch, are such a fantastic transition to night-time. The day setting feels like true daylight with a lovely subtle warmth that doesn't make our eyes hurt but also doesn't make our home feel dark or yellow.
